Overview
What this tool does
An event ticket is the physical or digital proof that a guest has admission to an event. This generator builds custom tickets for events you are organizing: parties, fundraisers, conferences, comedy nights, weddings, school events, charity dinners. Nine category templates cover the common event types, each with sensible defaults for layout and color. Add your logo, brand color, event details, and a scannable code (QR, PDF417, or Aztec) for entry. Download as a print-ready PDF for physical printing, or as a PNG for sending in a confirmation email. Useful for community organizers, event planners working on a tight timeline, school clubs running a fundraiser, or anyone who needs professional-looking tickets without a designer or a ticketing platform fee.
How to
Use it in 3 steps
- Pick a category template that matches your event (party, fundraiser, conference, wedding, etc.).
- Edit the event details: name, date, time, venue, ticket holder, seat or zone.
- Add your logo and choose a brand color. The template adapts.
- Pick a barcode type. QR is the most universal; PDF417 carries more data; Aztec is denser.
- Download the PDF for printing or PNG for email. The barcode is embedded at high resolution.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
▶Is this for selling tickets, or for events I'm organizing?
For events you are organizing. The tool generates ticket files. It does not process payments, manage guest lists, or check-in attendees. If you need a full ticketing platform, this tool produces the design that you would then issue through your own system.
▶Can the barcodes be scanned?
Yes. QR codes scan with any phone camera. PDF417 and Aztec require a barcode scanner app or hardware scanner. The code data is whatever you encode in it (a ticket ID, a URL, a JSON payload).
▶Can I print these at home?
Yes. The PDF is at standard letter and A4 size with proper margins. For a more durable ticket, print on heavier card stock or take the PDF to a commercial printer.
▶What does the PNG version look like?
A single image of the ticket at high resolution, ready to embed in an email or attach to a confirmation message. Most ticketing systems and email clients render PNG attachments inline.
